The sun is sparkling off an ocean as blue as the sky above.  A beautiful day in Saint- Martin.  Time for lunch.

We  are a little off the beaten path.  This is where the locals lunch, a sheltered quiet area where one can enjoy a crisp, cold glass of wine and seafood.

Everything sounds wonderful.  Seafood hours old.  Calamari Roman style and monk fish make the cut.

We are on the smallest island in the world ever to have been partitioned between two nations, French  Saint-Martin, and Dutch Sint Maarten.  We are lunching on the French side.     Of course, being on the French side, we are joined by a handsome French man.   You meet such interesting people when you travel.

Storm clouds gather.    They’ll pass over.  We plan to spend the afternoon at the beach on Orient Bay.
