It’s early Tuesday afternoon. Good husband is preparing to cut the lawn. He calls, “come quickly, quietly, bring your camera. I have a surprise for you”. I creep around the dogwood tree. Four tiny bunnies so small one could easily sit on the palm of my hand.
They sit perfectly still. Ma Bunny has taught them well. Sit perfectly still and no one will notice you. It almost worked. We leave them to scurry down their rabbit hole. Perhaps to have some chamomile tea to calm them. Good Husband takes the ride-em mower to the front lawn, the back lawn can wait for another day. Little treasures indeed, tiny, tiny brown bunnies.
