We thought our robins had given up attempting to come into our house. The last several weeks there was the only the occasional tap at the window. Generally they simply sat on the ledge and watched us.
The last couple of days the frenzied pecking on the windows began again. They missed us, they really missed us, we thought. This morning our delusions were shattered. It wasn’t us. It was all about the nest again.
What better place to start a home. Safe, protected, and so very country in decor.
I’m not sure if my “flower bed” ( my favorite spot to relax and read on a sunny afternoon), and a pair of robins setting up housekeeping, is going to work. We’ll see.
