BABY ROBINS LEAVE THE NEST

Fourteen days ago  our three baby robins entered our world.

This morning (about an hour ago)  they launched themselves out of the nest.  The first fledgling crashed landed.  He  didn’t survive.

Baby bird number two watches  chirping coaxing words.

“Don’t be scared.  You can do it.  Just flap your wings and jump”.

“I like it up here.  Lots of room.   Lots of worms just for me.  I shall stay for just a bit longer.”

Ma Robin flies up and says “fly with me, you can do it”.

Safe landing.   Flight school begins.
