A gray morning.

I am performing my coffee ritual.  Grinding the beans.  Boiling water.   Heating the milk.

Suddenly, with the brilliance of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah, sunlight fills the room.

It sings a joyous song

the room glitters,  glows.

It bounces off the mirrors.  I am bathed in golden sunshine.

Sunbeams  dance with chandelier crystals.

Capture this moment.  Quickly.

The light fades.

The triumphant strains of music fades.

This morning

A brief, golden glorious  moment in the sun.

Photograph taken Friday Sept. 30th, 2011 at 7:08 am .  A few minutes later the sun disappeared behind the heavy clouds.
